(RESCHEDULED) AD EX Build Your City! | Spring Break
Join AD EX in Klyde Warren Park to experience architecture hands-on and “Build Your City” from the ground up. You’ll be given your own plot of “land” to build on. What kind of building will you design and create? What materials will you use? How does it fit into your neighborhood? As you construct buildings, parks, and bridges, you’ll learn how a city comes together and what makes them great.
This free come-and-go activity is fun for all ages. Stay for a minute or a while!

(RESCHEDULED) Avant Chamber Ballet Performance Spring Celebration
Avant Chamber Ballet presents Spring Celebration, a FREE performance with live music on March 8th, 3 - 4pm. The show is family-friendly and welcomes all ages!
The performance will include classical ballet excerpts from Sleeping Beauty and modern works by Madelaine Boyce, Melissa Meng, and Paul Mejia.
Pianist Kamilya Akhmetova will accompany the dancers from Avant Chamber Ballet main company and the ACB Trainees.

YMCA Rec Hub | Spring Break
The YMCA Rec Hub is a recreation center on wheels! It’s designed to offer a space for recreational sports, from lawn games to sports like kickball and hockey. The Rec Hub has served community parks, recreational centers, schools and nursing homes through hours of active entertainment.

Visit Dallas Kiosk Grand Opening
Just in time for Spring Break, Klyde Warren Park is launching the Visit Dallas Kiosk, a new hub for curated itineraries, local insights, and interactive experiences.
Located next to the Nancy Best Fountain, the kiosk will be open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM, with Visit Dallas’ Information Specialists providing expert recommendations on cultural outings, dining and family-friendly activities. Funded by the Dallas Tourism Public Improvement District, it will also offer sports equipment and tabletop games for checkout. The grand opening on Monday features live music from Gracen Wynn and Sam Cormier, plus a chance to win a Southwest Airlines voucher, a two-night stay at the Westin Galleria, or a free downloadable CityPASS!
Look out for free donuts and margarita mile themed popsicles!

Cliburn Kids on the Road | Spring Break
Presented by Cliburn Kids.
Bring your family, friends, and pets (on a leash) for a free interactive, educational concert! In this season of Cliburn Kids on the Road, our artists present “What Makes a Hero?,” a program that celebrates music with your favorite heroes. This performance will be presented bilingually in English and Spanish.

Tai Chi | Tribe Wellness
RELAX. Breathe. Move! Join us for FREE Tai Chi classes in the park. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and gym shoes. Tai Chi (Tai Chi Chuan, or Tai Ji) is an internal Chinese martial art. It is known throughout the world for its slow, meditative forms and healthful benefits. Dr. Michael Braitsch PT, DPT teaches Yang Style Tai Chi and Qi Gong (pronounced “chi gong”) classes at Klyde Warren Park. He is a doctor of Physical therapy, a black sash (black belt) instructor of Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu and the internal arts (including Tai Chi and Qi gong).

Run through the Dallas Arts District with AD EX’s Form Follow Fitness 5K!
The Form Follows Fitness 5K is Dallas’ best 5K event showcasing downtown’s iconic architecture. Run or walk through the region’s cultural life, Uptown, The Arts District, West End, and through the skyline and high-rise buildings with award-winning architecture surrounding each step. KidLinks Therapeutic Music and Movement Series
Connect with your little ones through music and join KidLinks for a fun Therapeutic Music & Movement series! Move and groove along with Therapeutic Music Entertainer and Board-Certified Music Therapist, Maria Beltran, as she sings classic KidLinks songs (which are all vetted by early childhood professionals)! Small rhythm instruments will be available for use during the sessions. This is a FREE community event series suitable for ages 2 - 6 and preregistration is recommended.
